My name is Olivia McBurney. I am 22 years old, born and raised in Texas, and currently based in Milan. My work focuses on a mixture of my American roots with a sophisticated European editorial aesthetic, creating visual stories that blend local grit with international refinement.

I specialize in curating editorials across my home state of Texas, utilizing its endless landscapes, raw coastlines, and main city studios. At the same time, my experience living in Europe constantly drives my creative direction. I actively pull inspiration from modern architecture, cinema, and set design to build distinct, structured worlds for my subjects.

I view fashion through a cinematic and storytelling lens. My approach to styling is character building.  Navigating   models to embody specific narratives, whether they are  experiencing peaceful freedom or running away to fill a void. My work balances clean modernism and fluid sensuality with a raw, natural human element.

Balancing the energy of western culture and the design culture of Milan, I use my portfolio to experiment with contrasting lifestyles, high-fashion styling, and intentional spatial design to create a well rounded mixture of projects.
